As we break out the scarves, warm hats and coats, our Instagram followers at @ForbesTravelGuide are thinking about sunglasses, flip-flops and bathing suits.

Beach getaways topped our list of the most popular hotel Instagram posts in October. Our followers double tapped on photos from properties in the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Los Cabos and Grand Cayman.
