A classic go-to date is checking out the latest flick, but The Berkeley London has stepped it up this winter season to make things a bit more romantic. From November 26 through the end of January, the luxe Knightsbridge property will transform its rooftop terrace and pool into a chic escape where you can watch your favorite holiday movies every night of the week.
Surrounded by toasty heat lamps and pine trees cloaked in twinkling lights, the cozy outdoor setting overlooking Hyde Park seats an intimate four people per showing. You’ll watch holiday-themed movies such as Miracle on 34th Street and Love Actually — either at 5 or 7 p.m. — while bundled up in lush Moncler blankets and supplied hot water bottles to keep you warm. Homemade hot chocolate and mince pies are also on hand.
Screenings are complimentary for hotel guests. “Winter Welcome” packages start at $523. Tickets for non-hotel guests run about $87 per person and are only good for weeknight slots. In either case, reservations are required.
