Making its mark on the man-made Dubai Palm Jumeirah archipelago, Fairmont Hotels opens a stunning new hotel — the appropriately named Fairmont The Palm, Dubai. Given the location’s history of extravagance, it comes as no surprise that the property follows suit, offering a range of luxurious gulf-front amenities.
Each of the 381 guest rooms features Arabic Mashrabiya architecture, a spacious marble bathroom with a rain shower and breathtaking views of the hotel gardens, Arabian Gulf or Dubai Marina skyline. Of course, the two presidential suites, The Palm and Khaleej, sport even higher levels of sheen. Elegantly appointed living spaces, on-call butler service and panoramic vistas of the surrounding Palm Island and Dubai Marina skyline up the ante.
The hotel also has seven different dining options. Go for traditional Chinese at Bā; grab croissants, cakes and other confectionary treats from Delicacy; or let your tongue travel to South America at the Brazilian spot Frevo. Of course, if the Dubai sun has worn you out, stay in and order from the extensive 24-hour room-service menu.
Fairmont The Palm, Dubai’s full-service gym proves a great place to work off any dining indulgences. But if you’re just looking for a place to drift away, Willow Stream Spa is your desert oasis. Experience a Middle Eastern hamam (a bath ritual tailored to your desires), clear your head with aroma steam or renew your glow with a Kerstin Florian facial in one of the 13 treatment rooms.
The Dubai hotel is taking reservations for December 15 and beyond.
