Palm Beach exudes a certain exquisiteness. It’s a more refined part of Florida, where you’re less likely to see teeny-weeny South Beach bikinis and more likely to spend money shopping for Lilly Pulitzer cover-ups and corked-wedge sandals.
If you’re visiting Palm Beach in the next few weeks, be sure to check out one of the city’s most famed events: The Winter Equestrian Festival.
The FTI Winter Equestrian Festival (ending March 31) is one of Palm Beach’s premier and prestigious gatherings, bringing together residents and guests who want to enjoy everything from horse dressing to Polo matches. It’s true equine splendor, made even more fun with the help of local luxury hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach.
I visited the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach last week and took in a Polo match. Donned in a navy spring dress and tan wedge heels, I was one of the more understated visitors at the International Polo Club. Champagne flowed into flutes; women in big floppy hats walked the grounds with men in seersuckers at their side. At halftime, we stomped the divots on the grounds and had our photos taken — taking part in the see-and-be-seen camaraderie is part of the pleasure.
The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach is a sponsor of The Winter Equestrian Festival. Through the duration of the festival, the resort is offering a special “Bridle Meets the Beach” package that includes overnight accommodations on the Ritz-Carlton Club Level (including one night free or stay for three nights with a fourth free), overnight valet parking, a pass to Eau Spa’s Self-Centered Garden for outdoor relaxation, and a gift from Tamara Comolli Fine Jewelry Collection, including a personal consultation upon visiting the Worth Avenue boutique.
The package is available throughout the duration of the Winter Equestrian Festival with rates starting at $929.
