Steak, with a girly touch. That’s the idea behind Eva Longoria’s new Las Vegas restaurant SHe, which replaces her former Sin City destinations, Beso and Eve at ARIA Resort & Casino’s Crystals at CityCenter. The Desperate Housewives actress-turned-entrepreneur (turned political operative, too) and partner Landry’s Inc. wanted to create a space that combines “club culture with the global world of entertainment to create a female-friendly experience,” according to a statement quoted by the Houston Business Journal. The boutique steakhouse plans to feature glamorous Art Deco décor, theatrical performers, a catwalk for fashion shows, a dance floor and smaller plates—perfectly portioned for us female diners.
Longoria’s new concept might be seen as part of the trend of women-focused eateries, according the Los Angeles Times. For example, sexy steakhouse STK — a favorite of the Kardashian family clan — touts its “female-friendly mindset” and even issues pink-sapphire-encrusted steak knives to its high-profile guests.
SHe is set to debut New Year’s Eve in CityCenter.
