Four Seasons continues its takeover of China with October 18’s debut of Four Seasons Hotel Beijing. Although it’s the company’s third hotel opening in the country this year, it’s Four Seasons’ first outpost in the Chinese capital.
The new Beijing location offers the similarly opulent styling of Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou and Four Seasons Hotel Pudong, Shanghai, but where it truly separates itself is with its ideal location. Sitting comfortably about 20 minutes from Beijing Capital International Airport in the Yansha area of the Central Business District, the hotel, which soft-opened in late September, speaks to the executive sector as well as those longing to be near Chaoyang’s bustling entertainment scene.
Beyond its exterior promise, Four Seasons Beijing offers a lot inside as well. Among the property’s 313 rooms, check out the luxe Imperial Suite that takes up the entire 27th floor. It has a teak terrace, bar and kitchen, library and outdoor spot with its own fire pit and plunge pool. All rooms include Wi-Fi, espresso machines and Instagram-worthy views of Chaoyang Park. Downstairs there are more than 10,000 square feet of event space, highlighted by the Imperial Ballroom. Fine Asian cuisine can be enjoyed at two restaurants, Cai Yi Xuan and Mio. Three lounges, a 24-hour business center and a traditional-meets-21st-century spa help complete this latest Four Seasons experience in China.
