During a recent trip to Portland, we found ourselves on a hiking trail just outside the city, near the Columbia River Gorge. The trail is home to the famed Multnomah Falls, but we loved the smaller falls we uncovered throughout our hike — there’s practically one around every corner. This photo is of one we found when we accidentally got off the easy hiking loop we were trekking and landed on rougher terrain. Even though we got a little lost, the scenery was beautiful, and we couldn’t resist snapping a shot of this tranquil waterfall and creek.
