This week’s Friday Travel Photo comes from reader Shawnie Kelley Foy of Columbus, Ohio. Here, she explains her snapshot: My husband and I own a timeshare near Hyannis Port, and we took our car on the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard for a day of exploring. It was mid-October and a brilliant, sunny day — albeit, crisp and cold. As we waited on the docks in Vineyard Haven for our return trip, the clouds rolled in and the sun began a colorful and dramatic exit. I was fortunate enough to snap two shots of the blazing sunset that turned the sky and water a kaleidoscope of pink, red and purple just before settling into darkness. The colors in this picture lasted only about 10 seconds.
