Scroll through actor Ashley Tisdale’s Instagram feed and you’ll find lots of wellness inspiration. Tisdale, who launched her own scent-driven clean beauty brand, Being Frenshe, in 2022, takes you through her morning matcha recipe and her pampering bath rituals, while also peppering in posts from the forests of Big Sur to the luxurious Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort in Los Cabos.

We caught up with the wellness entrepreneur when she came to New York for The Slowdown, a recent Chase IHG One Rewards Credit Cards pop-up at Grand Central Terminal that encourages travelers to take a minute to slow down while inspiring future trips. Tisdale shared how she practices self-care while traveling, where she goes for a revitalizing getaway and where she’s heading next.

Where do you go when you want a rejuvenating getaway?

I love going to places with beaches because the ocean has such a calming effect on me. Recently, I went to Hawaii and Cabo with my family, and those trips were so rejuvenating.

      What’s been a life-changing trip?

I love traveling with my daughter! We recently took a trip to Hawaii with my mom, and it was so special. It was amazing to have the opportunity to unplug, be present, and enjoy quality time together.

How do you practice self-care while on the road?

Over time, I’ve learned that wellness is not just for the weekends, so I make sure to incorporate my favorite self-care practices while on the road — I’ll always make time for meditating, hiking or yoga, even when I’m on the go.

      What’s in your carry-on?

I bring self-care products like a face mask, a book or any products from my wellness brand, Being Frenshe, along with me. If I’m traveling with my daughter, toys or snacks to keep her occupied, help everyone stay calm and happy.

      What are your favorite hotels?

I love IHG Hotels & Resorts. They have over 6,000 destinations around the world so the options are endless. I recently stayed at the InterContinental New York Times Square hotel for The Slowdown activation and my room was amazing!

What are your favorite travel perks from your Chase IHG One Rewards Premier card?

I love that with my Chase IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card I earn three times the points on every dollar I spend, and even more points for things like dining and gas. It feels like my card is always working to get me closer to my next trip!

      Where are you traveling next?

I’d love to travel to Paris with my husband and see the Eiffel Tower. The Kimpton St. Honoré Paris is absolutely beautiful, and I’ve been wanting to stay there!
