First Lady Michelle Obama has inspired quite a few lifestyle trends during her time in the White House: garden-to-table eating, cheap and chic fashion, push-ups for creating those perfectly toned biceps. Now, she’s even inspired a spa treatment. Just in time for Inauguration festivities, The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, D.C. has created a spa package for the First Lady in all women.
The package, available beginning January 1, starts with your personal “motorcade” — aka car service — from any D.C. location to the hotel. Then, you’ll get your fitness on to the tune of Mrs. Obama’s own iPod playlist, featuring songs such as (2008 campaign theme) “Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours)” by Stevie Wonder, “I Was Here” by Beyoncé, “Get Right” by J. Lo and “Thank You” by Ledisi. After the 60-minute workout, the pampering continues with a massage referencing multiple First Lady faves; your rubdown includes organic oil of roses (M.O.’s favorite flower) and is performed in a room decorated in lavender, her signature color.
The massage is followed by a facial with the revitalizing, facial-toning NuFACE device (a tribute to Mrs. Obama’s youthful glow, natch). Finally, you can prepare for your busy social calendar with a wash and blow dry at the esteemed George Salon, conveniently located inside the hotel.
The price tag for the full, presidentially inspired package is $525.00.
