Just Back From Fishing Lodge Cap Cana
      By Forbes Travel Guide Inspector

      February 23, 2012

We just returned from a sun-filled stay at Fishing Lodge Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic. The marina-side resort had its soft opening in November, so we practically had the entire place to ourselves. That meant we had free rein over the four pools, the poolside bar and the French-themed restaurant. But our favorite part was our room. Fishing Lodge has a whole stretch of rooms that face the marina and are connected by a glittering infinity pool. We were able to hop off our balcony and go straight into the water. It was the perfect way to cool down from the Dominican heat.
