Relax, We Have All Your Spa Week Details
      By DeMarco Williams

      October 15, 2012

Now, here’s a celebration that will make you feel good: Spa Week starts today and runs through October 21. As part of the the biannual event, a number of spas and resorts around the country offer various treatments for $50 each. Here are some specials that rub us the right way:

Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star The Peninsula Spa Chicago is a treat any day of the year, but with the 60-minute hot-stone manicure and 60-minute deep-nourishing pedicure and restorative bath soak available this week for $50, you should be even more inclined for a visit. And who knows, after looking at your suddenly dazzling digits, you might go ahead with the anti-aging active peel facial you’ve been wanting to try.

Not to be outdone, Four-Star Four Seasons Hotel Houston is offering some specials at its spa. In addition to the hot-stone and aromatherapy treatments available daily, visitors to the downtown oasis will have their Spa Week choice of a 50-minute massage, 50-minute Clarisonic facial or 60-minute pedicure and foot massage. Deciding which service to get could prove the most stressful task of the day.

The decision-making won’t be any easier at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa these next few days, either. The retreat will present a trio of $50 treats — a 50-minute renewing pedicure, 50-minute antioxidant facial or 50-minute organic aromatherapy massage. Whichever you pick, combine it with one of the resort’s signature organic Fiji sugar scrubs to make the most of your relaxing visit.
