Sneak Preview: Trump International Hotel & Tower New York’s New Trump Spa

      Trump NY Spa Treatment Room

If you’re looking to relax in the Big Apple this summer, kick back Ivanka Trump style at the freshly revamped Trump Spa at Trump International Hotel & Tower New York. The hot designer and leading creative force behind the Trump Hotel Collection empire is overseeing the spa’s makeover, set to debut in May.

Here’s what you can expect. Walk into the modern reception area and you’ll see walnut wood walls and a Palissandro marble front desk — all hand-selected by Trump herself. As you head back to your treatment room (of which there are three), take note of the stone walls with a serpentine pattern. In the neutral-colored treatment room with textured walls and dim lighting, the plush coral chair provides a hint of color (the spa also will roll out some new treatments). The space feels private — there are even wooden sliding doors that hide away the therapist’s sink and supplies.

The men and women’s locker rooms — equipped with a sauna and steam room — have blue and gray tile throughout the space. Store your belongings in full-length lockers and post-treatment, freshen up using the backlit mirrors and vanity area. To really make it an Ivanka-approved spa day, finish with a dip in the redesigned 55-foot heated pool, complete with Jerusalem stone walls.
