The dress code at Encore Beach Club is swim attire, so live it up in your cutest designer bikini and highest wedge heels or low-heeled sandals.
The staff at this club within the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Encore at Wynn Las Vegas keeps the deck clean and dry all day (a miracle in the day club scene), so don’t worry about slippage. Women wear bikinis, heels and long necklaces out in the blazing sun. Some come to the pool with a colorful designer sarong wrapped around a one-piece before jumping into the water.
We mostly saw men in flip-flops and long board shorts. Men usually wear board shorts and flip-flops when hanging out and jamming to music by world-renowned DJs such as David Guetta and Avicii. If you want to get into this hot spot, don’t wear baggy clothing or jeans — this is a swimwear-only locale.
This is definitely a venue for young club-goers, but on our visit we also noticed the older crowd relaxing in the cabanas and bungalows. A benefit of those downstairs bungalows: a private infinity pool.
Don’t carry too much into Encore Beach Club (pick up a towel at the pool stand). Security at the door will take food, outside drinks and any drugs — it doesn’t matter if it’s your prescription allergy medicine or aspirin.
As many as 3,000 to 4,000 people are coming in and out of the club all day, so you don’t want to hold up the line with large bags.
