As the night air gets warm and spring comes to a close, June kicks off a season of energetic possibility. Here are our five picks for great places to experience some of that this month.

      Sea Island, Georgia
After a successful inaugural launch last year, Southern Grown returns to Sea Island for another celebration of the food, drink and music of the South on June 9 through 12. Enjoy bites by renowned visiting chefs like Mike Lata, Linton Hopkins, John Currence and Sea Island Resort’s executive chef Jonathan Jerusalmy.

In the spirit of Dixie dining, there will be “meat and three” dinners, storytelling, traditional Southern brunch, plus classes on culinary gardening, cooking with fire, and even a bit of shooting and bird dog training. Celebrated musicians, such as two-time Grammy winner Jason Isbell, will provide the soundtrack each night while Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star properties The Cloister and The Lodge at Sea Island Golf Club serve as the luxurious backdrops.

      Hershey, Pennsylvania
Hershey’s Chocolate World has reimagined and relaunched its chocolate tour, which is sweeter than ever, thanks to new interactive technology which better tells the story of Hershey’s chocolate from the cocoa trees of West Africa to the dairy farms of Central Pennsylvania. Create your own candy bar, try the 70 attractions at Hersheypark or dive into the just-opened, 30,000-square-foot indoor pool at Hershey Lodge before sinking into a plush bed for the sweetest of dreams at the Four-Star Hotel Hershey.

      Paris
Savor summer in the City of Light with Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme’s Culture at the Park package which, in addition to luxury accommodations and daily breakfast, comes with two two-day Paris museum passes providing access to over 60 museums and monuments in and around Paris, such as the Musée de L’Orangerie, which shows off Monet’s epic water lilies murals in its permanent collection and temporarily discusses the work of art critic Guillaume Apollinaire through July.

      San Antonio
The Alamo City’s newly restored The St. Anthony, A Luxury Collection Hotel recently launched a cocktail package including daily breakfast for two and complimentary parking, both of which will be necessary after enjoying two of the hotel’s signature Triple S (salt, sour and sweet) cocktails. Located just blocks from the Alamo and the Riverwalk, the property couldn’t offer a better location for exploring the city’s continuously evolving bar scene at nearby hot spots like The Bar at Bohanan’s, The Last Word, The Esquire Tavern and Juniper Tar.

      Jackson, Wyoming
The Rusty Parrot Lodge & Spa exudes rustic luxury just minutes from Grand Teton National Park and roughly an hour from Yellowstone National Park. The 32-room property’s Wolves and Grizzlies safari package includes a welcome wine-and-cheese orientation with a wildlife biologist before heading into the park’s bear- and wolf-filled territory. But in addition to heart-pounding interactions with the local fauna, the deal also comes with custom safari van transportation with an expert naturalist guide, elegant accommodations, visits to Old Faithful and Mammoth Hot Springs, plus select meals including a group dinner at The Rusty Parrot’s award-winning Wild Sage restaurant. Book now through June 5 and again September 16 to October 9.
