The bold colors of Amsterdam drew the most likes from followers on our Instagram account, @ForbesTravelGuide, in February. Two shots of the Netherlands’ capital city from photographer Hatice Korkmaz (aka @kardinalmelon) made it into our most popular posts of the month.
“Amsterdam is my favorite city. That was my 10th time there,” Korkmaz says about the above shot, which garnered more than 17,000 likes. “I always feel fabulous in this beautiful city. Wherever you look, whatever you see around is fantastic. Amsterdam is always very photogenic, but my favorite season is autumn. In autumn, canals become more colorful and more romantic. So every in autumn, I visit Amsterdam to watch and feel and take the photos of this beauty.”
