Excellent photographer @sennarelax snapped the top two winning shots. No. 1 (see above) is a photo of Pienza, a small, scenic Tuscan town that’s on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In 1459, Pope Pius II wanted to transform his hometown into a Renaissance utopia, so he hired an architect to create a town square, a new idea at the time. Pienza became a model of European city planning.
