Seafood adventures abound at resorts aiming to give you a catch-and-cook experience with a host of luxurious amenities along the way.

We found three Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotels that will have you slurping fresh oysters, spearfishing octopus and catching and eating mammoth mahi mahi on your next getaway.

The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort
Head out to sea in a 58-foot sport fisherman charter for a five-hour fishing expedition with the executive chef of this Five-Star Miami Beach hotel. The St. Regis Bal Harbour provides a Catch & Cook experience in honor of its fifth anniversary, and those who love to fish as much as they enjoy fine food will want to book the extravagant $5,000 package.

On board, you’ll get lunch and drinks (hello, bubbly), plus a cooking demo by chef Franck Steigerwald. In the evening, head to Atlantikos, the hotel’s new Greek restaurant, for a five-course dinner complete with wine pairings.

Then retreat to your gorgeous ocean-view room and take in the sweeping vistas and warm breezes from your balcony.

The term “culinary adventure” takes on a whole new meaning at this Five-Star beachside resort located about an hour north of Puerto Vallarta.

You can partake in an octopus spearfishing expedition that will take you from learning how to dive and fish with a spear to actually fishing in Bahia de Banderas, the third-largest bay in the Americas.

Back on land, get a chef-guided lesson on how to best prepare your catch of the day. The experience culminates with a three-course lunch, including a cocktail and dessert.

If you’re up for more heart-pumping exploits, the resort offers a slew of them — from scuba diving and surf lessons to horseback riding and whale watching.

If you’d rather let other people do the work while you enjoy the spoils, then the Pleasant Bay Oyster Expedition put on by this Five-Star Cape Cod resort may be your best bet.

A barge will take groups across Chatham’s Oyster Pond for a 90-minute cruise, during which you will learn about harvesting oysters and the lovely Pleasant Bay itself.

The excursion will end with a fresh oyster tasting from the trip’s catch paired with champagne.

Wequassett provides other maritime activities to check out as well, such as sailboat lessons, guided boat tours and rentals and a sunset cruise with cocktails to boot.
