On November 7, the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star will host wellness adviser Tammy Stokes, author of Live Your Healthiest Life and creator of the Hollywood-training-style West Coast Workout, for a detox retreat.

      The day will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a 60-minute cardio body sculpting workout plus hydration class. Once you’ve loosened up your muscles and gotten the circulation going, Stokes will guide you through the rest of the day with a workshop on stress management, a class on core strengthening, and spend time sharing information about her low-calorie, nutrient-dense, fiber-rich soups and more.

      Stokes works closely with attendees to motivate them with wisdom — she insists that full equals fat, satisfied equals maintenance and a little bit hungry equals weight loss — and inspirational talks. This retreat will include a stretching and meditation portion, which works to assist the group in dealing with life’s daily stresses and promotes feelings of happiness and healthiness.

      We had the pleasure of attending Stokes’ retreat at the Buckhead hotel this past spring. Here are our three top reasons why you should attend the Fall Detox Retreat.
