It’s no secret that north of the border, Toronto is a hotbed for culture, nightlife and entertainment. So, if you’re looking for the city’s little-known exclusive services and experiences, here are a few highlights on where to play, stay and dine.
Have a hotel stay with your party

But instead of having the house car take you to some overrated bar on a Saturday night, simply make your way up to the 31st floor where the party starts at Four-Star America Restaurant’s America Lounge & Late Night at 11 p.m. The establishment transforms into a stylish, sophisticated supper club that comes complete with lavish bottle service and beautiful people looking to have a good time.

Experience South Beach north of the border
When summers are as short as they are in Toronto, you have to make the most of as many pleasant weekends as possible. Over in Toronto’s Port Lands neighborhood, just east of the city core, is an area lined with defunct warehouses and industrial buildings, but it also has Polson Pier.
Go-karts and a golf range have drawn adults looking to play by the water. When the space debuts its new look this June, we’re hoping for even more fun draws.
Hidden behind all of that excitement, though, is Cabana Pool Bar. Jutting out onto Lake Ontario with the perfect view of the city skyline, the hottest parties of summer weekends (the 2016 fun starts in mid June) happen here. With the DJ spinning from day till night, hang out poolside in plush booths (or reserve a private cabana) and keep an eye out for celebrities like Will Smith, Deadmau5 and Justin Bieber, who’ve been known to stop by.
Score a pisco in privacy
With Valdez Restaurant’s Latin vibe emitting outside and liters of Mejor margaritas being poured inside, it’s easy to miss Escobar. But if you scoot through the restaurant, into the kitchen and onto the other side of the freezer door, you’ll come across the sort of clandestine space you’d imagine somebody like Pablo Escobar keeping all to himself. Named after the notorious Colombian drug lord, this Prohibition-style space (nab the secret password ahead of time by following the restaurant on Instagram) has no official menu, so you’ll leave your fate in the hands of the bartenders and their affluent selection of tequila and pisco.
