In Las Vegas, there’s 24 hours’ worth of entertainment and partying to get into every day. And, in the warmer months, the fun takes place outside, where DJs and scene-seeking crowds cool off in the Strip’s hottest pools. We’ve taken one for the team and scouted out the best parties where you can play in style this summer.
The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino
You’ve probably heard of Tao Beach, the massive day party on top of Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star The Palazzo’s Tao Nightclub. But if you’re not into grooving with thousands of your closest new friends, head instead to Azure, the private luxury pool area outside of the Four-Star Canyon Ranch SpaClub. Snag one of 11 private rental cabanas, where you can enjoy flat-screen TVs, air conditioning (a must under the sweltering sun), a couch, lounge chairs, a stocked fridge and more. You can even partake in poolside spa treatments. As if that weren’t enough, you can always move to the onsite DJ’s tunes, order cocktails from the mixology menu or nibble on gourmet snacks by Wolfgang Puck.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
One of the newer properties on the Strip, Four-Star The Cosmopolitan is as beloved for its popular concerts and music acts as it is for its buzzy restaurants and shops (Rent the Runway, anyone?). When it’s time to get your party on by day, make your way to the Marquee Dayclub pool, where you can rent one of 10 three-story Bungalow lofts that comes complete with a living area, cabana and private infinity pool with a party deck, giving you a perfect overview of all the action.
Encore at Wynn Las Vegas
Easily one of the glitziest of the city’s pool parties, the Four-Star Encore books acts like Zedd, Kaskade and Diplo regularly at Encore Beach Club. (Avicii and David Guetta are already slated to headline the club’s Labor Day weekend festivities.) Don’t miss the signature “Recess Fridays” that prove raucous parties don’t have to happen on a weekend. For true VIP action any day of the week, reserve one of the 26 cabanas and treat yourself to flat-screen TVs and daybeds, or go all out with an over-the-top bungalow, which is composed of a private bathroom, individual infinity dipping pool and balcony-level views of the Strip and the party down below.
ARIA Resort & Casino
Want the scene but not necessarily the crowds? Hit up Liquid Pool Lounge, the must-see day party at the Four-Star ARIA. The two luxury pools there are the perfect centerpieces for an intimate setting (only eight VIP cabanas and 17 daybeds) — even though someone is mixing the hits and go-go dancers are present to keep crowds engaged. Need a bit more seclusion? Private pools are available. Surrounded by the 50-seat, open-air Liquid restaurant, it’s easy to fill up and relax at the same time. This ARIA escape is a chic alternative (or a good recovery day) after a night out at the tables or clubs.
Mandalay Bay
At the south end of the Strip, there’s no better place to be each weekend than Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay resort. About 5,000 gorgeous people mingle each day while watching big-name acts (like Skrillex and Alesso) perform on the 1,400-square-foot stage. Secure one of 23 VIP cabanas for a bit more privacy. But even regular tickets get you in on the action, which you can watch up close and personal or via massive LED screens located by the pool. If you want something a bit more low-key, Delano Beach Club, which is part of the onsite hotel-within-a-hotel The Delano, also features a DJ but less of the party vibe that tends to go along with the thumping percussion.
