In case you don’t particularly feel like keeping that New Year’s resolution to eat light and healthy in 2013, American eatery Allium — located within Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Four Seasons Hotel Chicago — has you covered.
Patrons can partake of the restaurant’s all-you-can-eat weekday specials, which are anything but calorie free (trust us). Dig into a gravy-soaked pasta and meatball entrée and tiramisu dessert on Mondays; sample buttermilk fried chicken, mashed potatoes and apple pie on Tuesdays; sink your teeth into barbecue beef brisket, slaw and fried pickles on Wednesdays; eat homemade sausages and braised pork butt with kraut on Thursdays; and on Fridays, savor beer-battered fish and salt-and-vinegar chips, with toffee pudding and rum ice cream for dessert. Of course, if you don’t want to fall completely off the weight-watching wagon so early in the new year, there are salads available as starters.
Each down-home, three-course meal is paired with a beverage — spiked sweet tea or a carafe of Italian vino, anyone? — sure to wash away the winter doldrums.
The $38 all-you-can-eat spreads have already begun, so make a reservation now here and prepare your appetite.
