Build Your Own Vacation At Four Seasons Resort Maui At Wailea

A stay at Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea is certain to be enjoyable — after all, this is a luxury Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star resort, and it’s on a beautiful tropical island. But if you are looking to do more than bask in the sun, tailor your stay at the Maui hotel with these new perks and packages.

      For Families

Targeted at families, WeTime/MeTime is a customizable amenity that puts every detail of the vacation-planning process into the resort’s capable hands. Let the Four Seasons know the ages and hobbies of your kids — as well as your own interests — and the concierge will put together a suggested itinerary for each member of the family prior to your arrival. In addition, the resort will stock your room with all the items you might need during your stay, including toys, treats, baby safety items and more (all gratis).

WeTime/MeTime tries to help parents balance quality time with the kids with quality time alone. While mom and dad enjoy a spa treatment, take a dip in the adults-only Serenity Pool or play a round of golf on one of the property’s three courses, children ages 5 to 12 can participate in the Five-Star hotel’s complimentary Kids For All Seasons recreational and educational program, which offers games, sports and treasure hunts. Teenagers can opt for outdoor activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving and kayaking as well as video games, ping-pong and board games. And infants can be watched over by a private nanny.

      For Wine Lovers

Vintage Wine Weekend, a three-day event taking place on Memorial Day Weekend, will bring together vintners, master sommeliers and wine enthusiasts for a series of dinners and tasting events, culminating with an oceanfront gala with 40 wine and culinary stations. Make a reservation for the event and you’ll have the opportunity to rub elbows and taste wines with vintners like Gary Burke of Costa Oro, Steve Clifton of Brewer Clifton and Donald Patz of Patz & Hall.

      For Sports Fans

During the fall, Four Seasons Resort Maui provides several packages for sports enthusiasts. November 10 through 15, champion windsurfers Matt Pritchard and Shawna Cropas host Aloha Windsurfing Clinic, a five-night “camp” that includes accommodations, gear, snacks, a daily breakfast, not to mention plenty of windsurfing instruction. The wind, waves and Wailea (the holy trinity of on-the-water fun, really) will be your backdrop. The program serves all levels of skill.

If you’re more of a landlubber, November 29 through December 7 will feature a Cycling Camp, led by Canadian Olympian Ryder Hesjedal. Improve your cycling skills while taking in Maui’s gorgeous landscape. The package includes eight nights of accommodations, snacks and drinks for rides, breakfast and lunch, as well as plenty of coaching from competitive riders like Hesjedal.
