We recently attended a wedding on a beautiful property overlooking the Hudson River near Rhinebeck, New York, a slice of countryside that’s dotted with historic mansions and scenic overlooks. The couple was married at Locusts on Hudson, a painstakingly restored private estate on 1,000 acres of national parkland. After a sunset riverside ceremony, the wedding party hopped into golf carts and headed to the reception, which was held down the lane in one of the property’s 19th-century barns. We loved the weeping willows surrounding the weathered gray outbuildings of the manor home.
