On a recent trip to Singapore, street photographer Jason Martini spotted a local sporting a new spin on the classic Michael Jordan kicks. “I was approaching the busiest stretch of Orchard Road, a really popular area in the city. It has tons of high-end shopping and is very busy and very pretty,” Martini said. In fact, the road was named for the orchards it formerly led to and is filled with planter boxes, urban green rooms and flower totem poles. Martini was near the School of Arts Singapore when he saw the Jordan heels, which capture the city’s unique street-style aesthetic.
