Guy-Focused Spa Treatments That Hit The Spot

Guys on business trips and golf getaways want to get in on the pampering, and hotel spas are doing something about it by offering more services specifically tailored for men’s skin and body types. Here’s the rub on four places around the world that offer male-centric services:

      The Dolder Grand, Zurich
This hotel is perched just high enough above the Swiss metropolis to provide magnificent views of the city. But instead of the vista, guys should focus on the Gentleman’s Spa World package. Available through December, the pampering bundle includes two-night accommodations, a martini at the bar, a three-course dinner at The Garden Restaurant and three 60-minute services (facial, back treatment and training session).

      Kohler Waters Spa, Kohler, Wisconsin
Already one of the country’s biggest draws for golfers because of its marvelous Whistling Straits Golf Course, Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star The American Club also hooks the guys in with a menu at its Five-Star spa that tops any leaderboard — men can get everything from scalp revivals to customized skin masks. And it doesn’t matter if you need attention before hitting the first hole (100-minute Total Golfer’s Treatment) or after you’ve sunk that last putt (re-energizing Golfer’s Foot Renewal), there’s something at Kohler to soothe.

      Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires
At the crossroads of the Argentine capital’s commercial and cultural hubs sits this über-stylish property. The Four Seasons keeps its male guests looking nearly as dapper as the facility itself with the Men’s Sport Manicure and Men’s Sport Pedicure, two services enhanced with a skin-softening paraffin wax. And if all of that sounds like music to your ears, consider completing the relaxing day with the Porteno Tango, an 80-minute therapeutic massage that’s choreographed to the beloved South American music.

      Arizona Biltmore, Phoenix
The services provided at this spa take cues from cultures all over the world — Japanese (shiatsu), Swedish (Hands of Healing massage) and Native American (Dream Catcher Aromatherapy massage). Nearly as impressive as the diversity is the attention the place shows to guys. The Biltmore has a Gentlemen’s Facial and a male-focused manicure and pedicure. And after a day of hiking, golf or tennis around the hotel, there’s also a Sports Recovery Treatment available for easing any tense muscles.
