Even if you don’t have your own private jet, actor/comedian/singer Jamie Foxx showed us how we could borrow one for a jaunt.
W Boston and W Hotels of New York, along with private jet charter company Jetlux, launched the luxurious JetSet Suite Life Package with a lavish all-day party, starting at the W New York-Times Square in New York City and finishing at the W Boston, with Foxx presiding over the festivities.
The Oscar- and Grammy-winning Foxx, who confirmed he’s a fan of both Jetlux and W Hotels and has a history of using their services, was a charming and entertaining host throughout the long day. He drank Dom Pérignon with guests at W New York-Times Square, cracked jokes on the private plane ride to Boston and kept up the energy back at the hotel, where he took over as DJ during an impromptu dance party in the suite’s massive bedroom.

Unfortunately, Foxx won’t be able to accompany you on your excursion, but the JetSet Suite Life Package includes accommodations in either the Extreme Wow Suite at W Boston or at one of the five W hotels in New York City, round-trip private jet and black car service.
Between dancing and joking, Foxx shared that the one thing that he can’t travel without is music (his playlist is filled with ’70s tracks); he loves to vacation in Montana; and both Ibiza and the Maldives are on his bucket list to visit.
He also said that one of his most memorable travel experiences was celebrating New Year’s Eve twice, on a back-to-back whirlwind trip that took him from Australia to Las Vegas to watch the ball drop in two time zones.

Foxx said that when he’s not traveling, he’s focused on his career. He’s working on his directorial debut — the 2018 comedy All-Star Weekend features a slate of familiar faces like Robert Downey Jr., Gerard Butler, Jeremy Piven, Eva Longoria and Floyd Mayweather — and a comedy tour where he plans to visit all the clubs he started out in when he was making a name for himself.
The hotel brand’s signature “Whatever/Whenever” guest policy — a mandate that ensures the hotel staff will do its best to fulfill any request, no matter how unusual (as long as it’s legal) — makes it appealing to all types of travelers, including Foxx and Tom Osovitzki, the co-founder of Jetlux, who is also a frequent guest. Foxx calls the partnership between W Hotels and Jetlux a “great combination.”

The Extreme Wow Suite is W Boston’s largest accommodation, with custom-made furniture, an enormous living room with stunning city views, a separate dining area with seating for eight and a fully stocked wet bar. The master bathroom features a separate free-standing soaking tub and rainfall shower.
The W New York-Times Square’s Extreme Wow Suite boasts views of Broadway, a transportable DJ booth and state-of-the-art sound system, a spinning six-guest dining room table (which rises hydraulically to become a bar), a large living room with plenty of seating and a bedroom featuring a circular spinning bed you’ll simply melt into after your whirlwind jaunt between the two cities.
