Have a cocktail for a good cause at PT at the Talbott. The pop-up restaurant inside The Talbott Hotel in Chicago will play host to guest bartending events this month with proceeds going to the UNICEF Tap Project. The temporary eatery is the brainchild of Mercadito Hospitality and Tippling Bros., who together will open the permanent Little Market Brasserie in the space later this fall. For now, take advantage of PT’s remaining time by grabbing a carefully crafted cocktail mixed by two of the city’s most notable bartenders: Mike Ryan of Sable Kitchen and Bar and Cristiana DeLucca of The Drawing Room.
Two upcoming events — Ryan tomorrow and DeLucca on Sept. 25 — will bring these bartenders to PT, where they will serve three special cocktails that complement the restaurant’s Latin-American cuisine. The duo behind Tippling Bros., Paul Tanguay and Tad Carducci, loved the idea of creating a similar pop-up experience with mixologists. They also felt strongly about helping a water-focused cause; the Tap Project provides clean water to kids worldwide. Seating will be first-come, first-served, so arrive early to snag a spot. If you can’t make it out, one of the signature cocktails created at each event will be featured on the menu for the rest of the week.
