Forbes Travel Guide unveiled its 60th list of Star Awards on February 20, presenting a wide array of restaurants around the globe with exclusive honors based on intuitive service and craveable cuisine.
Five new Five-Star restaurants made the cut this year, including the first from Disney with its classic fine-dining venue Victoria & Albert’s in Orlando. Bay Area spots Manresa and Saison brought some farm-to-table flair to our list while Sushi Mizumi at Macau’s Wynn Palace and The Peninsula Hong Kong’s elegant French eatery Gaddi’s proved that the Far East would not be outdone.
The Four-Star category had a stellar showing as well with 24 new additions, ranging from freshly grilled delights at Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou’s Ebony to perfectly presented plates at Günter Seeger New York and upscale Cantonese cooking at Trump International Hotel & Tower Vancouver’s Mott 32.
Ten new Recommended restaurants made the grade with excellent service and sublime surroundings, including Georgie at Montage Beverly Hills, Matador Room at The Miami Beach Edition and Nobu Lanai at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai.
