You can take home an array colorful souvenirs and edible treats to remember your fun visit to Miami.
For men, guayaberas, popular button-down linen and cotton shirts, are a Miami staple. Head to the Little Havana area for the authentic shirts. Ramon Puig, whose eponymous owner is known as the “King of the Guayaberas,” is a great place to start.
The ladies should opt for funky, beach-themed jewelry and accessories. You can find an eclectic selection at Bayside Marketplace and Lincoln Road Mall.
Local sports team paraphernalia also makes for a good gift — pick up Miami Dolphins, Miami Marlins and the Miami Heat jerseys and other gear.
Since the city boasts an internationally renowned arts scene with Art Basel and numerous galleries and museums, peruse Wynwood and the Miami Design District to snap up a work from a local artist.
Before hitting the road, stop by a market for a loaf of Cuban bread and pastries, guayaba (guava) empanadas and croquettes.
And, course, no visit to Miami would be complete without a fabulous tan — a souvenir everyone will be jealous of back home.
