What’s Your Favorite Room At The Greenbrier?
      By Forbes Travel Guide Inspector

      January 18, 2012

[slideshow] Vibrant colors, floral patterns, large prints and neo-baroque style drench the vast Greenbrier resort. Its distinctive décor dates back to the makeover it received in the 1940s, when the hotel hired legendary designer Dorothy Draper to decorate the entire resort. She remained the Four-Star hotel’s decorator into the 1960s, and today, Carleton Varney — a protégé of the ground-breaking designer — continues to infuse the resort in Draper’s signature style.
