No matter where your travels take you, it feels good to know that your stay made a difference. This October, visit one of these six luxury hotels around the globe to enjoy sweet treats, themed tipples and shopping sprees that support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Terranea Resort
For the third consecutive year, this Four-Star resort outside of L.A. turns pink (literally) for breast cancer awareness — throughout October, the pool is dyed and the entrance lights up with rose-hued effects each evening.
In addition to the visual spectacle, the resort also offers a slew of specials all month long to support the cause. During your getaway, order crab cake sliders at Nelson’s, try strawberry lemonade cupcakes at Sea Beans, play 18 holes on the links or book a seaweed wrap at the Four-Star spa, and the hotel will donate a portion of the proceeds to organizations like Cancer Support Community Redondo Beach and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain
Thanks to a partnership with nonprofit Think Pink Bahrain, this urban beach retreat presents an array of extras this October to benefit breast cancer awareness.
Dine on a themed chef’s table menu at Primavera, savor rose-colored desserts from executive pastry chef Jonathan Challenor or pamper yourself with an ESPA Pink Hair and Scalp Mud mask — 5 percent of the proceeds from these offerings will be donated to Think Pink Bahrain.
Even if you’re not staying at the elegant hotel, pop by in the evening to watch the building light up as part of city-wide initiative “Manama-The Pink City” all month long.
The Langham, Hong Kong
As the Pink Hotel Partner of the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation, this Five-Star Hong Kong retreat raises awareness in the most delicious way with a Think Pink Afternoon Tea.
Through November 18, enjoy rosy bites, such as a pink ribbon macaron with white chocolate ganache, a rose-infused lychee mousse, and tomato bread topped with pomegranate cream cheese and applewood-smoked salmon. Pair the meal with your tea of choice or opt for a glass of Perrier-Jouët — the rosé champagne, of course.
While you partake in this stylish ritual, you can feel good knowing that HK$10 from each set sold will be donated to the foundation to aid screening services and education in the local community.
The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco
From remarkable tipples to rose-tinted effects, this Four-Star Nob Hill knockout shows its true colors this month. Stop by the San Francisco hotel to see its regal façade illuminated pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, before stepping inside to partake in some flavorful fundraising.
On select Saturdays (October 6 and 27), the property hosts Pink Afternoon Tea, during which $10 of each service will be given to Bay Area nonprofit Breast Cancer Emergency Fund.
Or, if you’d rather not stick to a schedule, slide up to the bar anytime to sip on a Hello Gorgeous cocktail, a blush-hued beverage featuring cachaça (a Brazilian spirit made from fermented sugarcane), gin, lime, rosemary syrup and soda — $2 per tipple will also go to BCEF.
The Langham, Boston
Make an impact simply by shopping at this Four-Star Franklin Street address in October.
Visit the lobby of the Boston hotel to pick up a pair of stylish Langham Pink Hunter rainboots — not only will you look fabulous when it starts to sprinkle, but 10 percent of your purchase will be donated to The Pink Agenda, a nonprofit supporting breast cancer research and patient care.
You can also make a reservation for the property’s classic Afternoon Tea by Wedgwood to nibble on British-themed treats knowing that 10 percent of your tab will be given to the breast cancer charity.
The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong
Raise a glass to the fight against breast cancer during the Pretty in Pink afternoon tea hosted by Café 103 within this Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star skyscraper.
Available through November 30, the sweet treat features a spread of rose-hued desserts, savory bites and mocktails from executive pastry chef Richard Long. Nibble on lychee rose tarts, sponge cake and raspberry yogurt trifles, and pink caviar rémoulade crab salad Swiss rolls. For an extra indulgent touch, add a glass of Louis Roederer rosé champagne.
