      Forbes Travel Guide Stories

      Stories by Carolyn Heller

Carolyn Heller is Forbes Travel Guide's Vancouver correspondent. The freelance feature writer has traveled to more than 50 countries on six continents — always in search of intriguing stories, whether walking across Prince Edward Island or reporting on Istanbul’s modern art scene.

Heller writes about culture, food and drink, hotels, road trips, interesting people and all sorts of offbeat adventures for publications, including Forbes Travel Guide, Lonely Planet, Travel + Leisure, BBC Travel, Fodor’s Travel, Going.com, Roadtrippers, Verge Magazine, Montecristo Magazine and many more. She’s authored several Canada guidebooks and contributed to 50-plus other travel books.

A dual U.S.-Canadian citizen, and a member of both the Society of American Travel Writers and the Travel Media Association of Canada, she’s lived in Vancouver since 2003, where you’ll often find her running along the seawall, snacking in one of the city's Asian noodle shops or planning her next adventure.
