Come Black Friday, you can brave the crowds scouring stores for deals on everything from TVs to ties, or you can relax and book a once-a-year hotel deal with the click of your mouse. While there are likely to be more deal announcements as Black Friday and Cyber Monday near, our editors found five specials you can mark on your calendars now:
Dreamed of staying in a suite at one of Trump Hotel Collection’s sparkling skyscrapers? Log on to their website on November 23 or November 26 to get 30 percent off any suite you book. The deal is for all Trump Hotel Collection properties — including those in New York, Chicago and Miami — and is for travel from January 1 through March 31.
At the Four-Star Ritz-Carlton, Dallas, head straight to the 12,000-square-foot, Four-Star spa on November 23. From 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., you’ll get 25 percent off massages, facials and body treatments, including the standout Texas eight-hand massage and the exclusive bluebonnet facial. Added bonus: select items from the spa boutique will be marked down by 50 percent.
You can head to the mall or you can head to the Four-Star Greenbrier for leisurely, stress-free shopping and an impressive list of early Black Friday specials. From 8 to 10 a.m. on November 23, the shops (and there are many) at the West Virginia resort will feature big deals like 25 percent off all Roberto Coin jewelry, 30 percent off cashmere sweaters at the Polo Ralph Lauren shop and 25 percent off all retail items at the Greenbrier Spa Shop. After shopping, join in on the progressive wine tasting event, held in a handful of shops, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The Four-Star St. Regis Atlanta often hosts themed afternoon teas, and Black Friday is no different. Visit Astor Court on the mezzanine level from 2 to 5 p.m. on November 23 for an elaborate shopping-inspired tea that includes sweets (chocolate caramel tarts, macarons), savories (truffled egg quiche, prosciutto and asparagus) and a glass of sparking wine. The $90 tea includes a $50 gift card to Neiman Marcus.
Hotel Blackhawk in the Quad Cities is offering a package not just for Black Friday, but for a full nine days surrounding Thanksgiving. Book the Festival of Trees package (available November 17 to 25) for two tickets to the Quad City Arts Festival of Trees (located next to the Davenport, Iowa, hotel), two drinks at the boutique hotel’s Bix Bistro Lounge, two games of bowling at the hotel and a $25 voucher for breakfast.
