To spark some travel inspiration for 2016, we rounded up @ForbesTravelGuide’s 20 most popular Instagram posts from the past year. Romantic castles in Germany; bright, leafy scenes in Amsterdam; and stunning seaside spots in Greece were the destinations of choice among our followers. But the place that captured the most attention was the above Toronto photo.
Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto gave us this photo from Carrly Patrice (@carrly_patrice), a Toronto graphic designer and Web developer with an interest in photography. “We were at Tommy Thompson Park at dusk when I took the shot,” she said. “We noticed this large swan swimming towards us — he came right up onto the shore line where we were standing. I don’t think he was very pleased that we were there. Fortunately, he didn’t attack and I was able to get this shot as he left us.”
