Atlanta fashionistas and makeup lovers alike should make plans to spend a couple of hours on September 4 mixing and mingling inside The St. Regis’ Astor Court. It is there that you will have access to the 15-piece Jason Wu for Lancôme Collection that Wu (the wunderkind who designed both of first lady Michelle Obama’s inauguration dresses) has created with the luxury Lancôme brand.
The line is inspired by Wu’s feminine fall 2013 collection and comes with three eye shadow palettes, a trio of neutral powder shadows, a black liquid eyeliner pen, an assortment of red nail polishes, fierce red lipsticks, navy mascara and a dual-ended shadow and liner brush — all encased in a tasteful dove-gray packaging.
With Lancôme makeup artists on hand to assist with primping, you can also delight in The St. Regis Atlanta’s tea menu, which was crafted exclusively for the limited-edition beauty collection. Let the St. Regis Butlers serve you Lancôme Nail Polish Cookies, Vanilla Truffle Lipsticks, Lemon Meringue Eye Shadows, Bourbon Compact Macarons and Vanilla-Orange Cupcake Powder Puffs with a glass of bubbly. Traditional tea sandwiches will also be available to savor — confit chicken salad on pumpernickel croute and cucumber with lemon crème fraîche on brioche.
