A decade after Alan J. Fuerstman debuted Montage Hotels & Resorts with Montage Laguna Beach, the luxury brand is commemorating its first double-digit birthday with a full year of celebration.
The company has included three main elements in its festivities. First, there’s the Montage 10 — a curated, must-experience list from each Montage property (Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Laguna Beach, Five-Star Beverly Hills and Four-Star Deer Valley). A couple of highlights from the three lists include watching the sun set between Laguna Beach’s palm trees (which are dubbed Lucy and Desi, after the comedic couple who filmed The Long, Long Trailer at the Orange County hotel) and making a canine date to meet Monty, Montage Deer Valley’s Bernese Mountain four-legged ambassador.
The Montage Memory Makers contest, meanwhile, will award a total of $50,000 in college scholarships to five “inspiring young humanitarians” (ages 13-17) who have impacted and made memories in their communities.
Rounding out the celebration is the Montage Memories package that includes a one-night stay, a $50 dining credit for breakfast and complimentary valet parking. The package starts at $595 for the Laguna Beach and Deer Valley properties and at $550 for the Beverly Hills location, and is valid through December 1.
