Luxurious Hotel Bathrooms With Priceless Views

When walking into a luxury hotel room, you notice many things — from the soft-to-the-touch bedding and thoughtful welcome amenity to the savvy gadgets on the bedside table. But what about the bathroom? While stocked with luxe products and posh features, sometimes the best part of a hotel bathroom is the mesmerizing vista outside the window. Here are five bathrooms where the view reigns supreme:

Ty Warner Penthouse Suite at Four Seasons Hotel New York

This $35,000-per-night mega suite — named after the hotel’s owner — is loaded with over-the-top touches such as a handcrafted Hästens Vividus mattress and Chinese onyx-covered walls. And one of its showstoppers is the bathroom with its scape of Manhattan. The suite’s location on the 52nd floor of the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel means ample viewing space for guests, and the bathroom’s spacious tub boasts a direct shot of the Big Apple skyline.

Grand Deluxe Harbour View Suite at The Peninsula Hong Kong

The suite at the Five-Star hotel feels classic and refined without losing sight of modern technologies such as tablet-based room control systems and noise-canceling headphones. In the bathroom, though, you’ll be blown away by the optimal sights of Victoria Harbour. Oversized corner bathtubs set in front of two glass walls make an ideal locale to observe the city, and LED touch-screen panels next to the tub allow for radio and TV while you unwind, if the view isn’t enough of a relaxing distraction.

      Amangani, Wyoming

Escape to nature in the Snake River Valley at Amangani. The picturesque Four-Star resort isn’t at a loss for scenery, from panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains to meadows and valleys. The wilderness property’s suites come equipped with rustic elements such as cowhide chairs and faux wolf throws, and fireplaces provide a cozy spot to snuggle up when the temperatures drop. But the bathrooms offer arguably the best surprise — deep soaking tubs overlooking the snow-capped Tetons or Snake River Valley.

      Post Ranch Inn, California

California’s Highway 1 is famous for its coastline views, and Post Ranch Inn occupies a covetable spot overlooking the water in Big Sur. Perched on a cliff, the Four-Star hotel grants guests a variety of views from its rooms and suites, but the Cliff House is the crème de la crème with its postcard-worthy vistas. The glass-walled bedroom is unbelievable, and the views continue into the bathroom with a large soaking tub overlooking the ocean and the coastline.
