Forbes Travel Guide debuted its 2018 Star Awards on February 20, unveiling one of the most impressive batches of Five-Star hotels in the company’s history. Among the 27 new Five-Star hotels, winners spanned from all over the globe, from Star Tower at Studio City Macau and Mandarin Oriental, Munich to The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto and Dubai’s Burj Al Arab Jumeirah.
Spectacular showings from across the map can also be seen at the Four-Star level. Of the 70 new properties in the category, hotels such The St. Regis Chengdu, Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest and Rosewood Washington, D.C. prove just how diverse the new lineup is.
When you look at the 76 new Recommended hotels and resorts, you will notice even more variety. From Vienna’s Grand Hotel Wien and Four Seasons Hotel Bogota to The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort and Spa and Conrad Seoul, Forbes Travel Guide inspectors found exemplary accommodations all over the world.
