There’s no better way to escape the winter chill than bellying up to a cozy bar with a seasonal cocktail. Some of our favorites are poured at The Bar at Four Seasons Hotel New York, a classic spot with a bustling crowd and expert bartenders. We recently stopped by to chat with resident bartender Gary Wang, who has been mixing up libations at Four Seasons for 13 years. Here’s his pick for the season’s best winter cocktails:
Manhattan. You can’t go wrong with this tried-and-true cocktail. Made with whiskey, sweet vermouth, bitters and garnished with a maraschino cherry, this drink always goes down smooth.
It’s All Good. Combining an interesting mix of flavors, this beverage consists of Talero organic silver tequila, pomegranate liqueur, pomegranate juice and cucumber. The cucumber provides a subtle dash of freshness that’s sure to satisfy even the most discerning palates.
Pearlicious. This is a must-try during the chilly winter months. Even though it’s served cold, the drink provides a warm burst of flavor with its seasonal ingredients. You’ll taste Maker’s Mark bourbon, ginger syrup, mint leaves, fresh lime juice and hard pear cider as you sip.
