On March 15, finalists were named for the restaurant industry’s big prize, the James Beard Foundation Awards, and Forbes Travel Guide’s Star-Rated establishments were well represented.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the James Beard Foundation annually honors the best and brightest chefs, restaurants and culinary influencers. Forbes Travel Guide’s ratings skew heavily toward service at restaurants, and James Beard covers all aspects of the industry — chefs and restaurateurs, cookbook authors and food journalists, restaurant designers and architects.
Of course, we’re thrilled for all the nominees who hope to hear their names called during the 2016 James Beard Awards Gala on May 2, but we can’t help but save a place at the head of the table for dining spots that also boast Forbes Travel Guide Star Rating Awards:
