Las Vegas is home to some of the country’s best food and nightlife, but one usually precedes the other. That’s no longer true at Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Encore at Wynn Las Vegas; when the resort unveils its newest restaurant on December 28, you’ll score a memorable meal and nightclub experience with one reservation.
Andrea’s is a “vibe dining” concept that combines restaurant and nightlife elements — and it won’t be scrimping on either. Accomplished executive chef Joseph Elevado (pictured), who last headed Livello at L’Ermitage Beverly Hills, is at the helm, creating a menu of Asian-inspired shareable plates like dim sum, sushi and sliders. As for the club component, Andrea’s tapped Wynn Las Vegas resident DJ Steve Angello to be its “musical chef;” with the help of guest DJs, Angello will keep beats going from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. nightly.
Then there’s the space itself. Andrea’s is located in the Surrender and Encore Beach Club complex, making it the first Wynn or Encore restaurant to be fully integrated into a nightclub. It will have a lounge for mingling, an elevated dining room to seat 155 guests and a 2,100-square-foot terrace overlooking Surrender’s outdoor area.
There’s one more twist of the spirited variety: VDKA, a new vodka bar adjunct to Andrea’s, will also open on December 28. Among the 150-plus vodkas on tap are flavored varieties like bacon, basil, peanut butter and Bloody Mary.
Leave it to Las Vegas to devise a place where you can have an exotic aperitif, a quality meal and an all-night dance party without changing locations.
